**Job overview**:
We are looking for someone with excellent communication, customer service and administration skills to join our dedicated and close knit team. The post holder will join our existing Team Administrator, to provide full administration support to the Adult Autism Assessment Team. The post holder will be the first point of contact for adults in Cornwall presenting to the autism assessment service pathway, their families/carers and professional referrers. Key responsibilities will include:

- To respond to queries, including offering information about the Adult Autism Assessment service, and signposting to other services.
- To communicate in a way that is sensitive to potential social and communication difficulties and differences associated with autism
- To assist in the processing of Adult Autism Assessment Team referrals.
- To carry out general administrative tasks, including booking appointments, sending letters and reports, and maintaining office supplies

Training around autism will be provided, and you will be fully supported in to the role by our existing experienced Team Administrator.

**Main duties of the job**:
The administrator provides full administration support to the Adult Autism Assessment team. The post holder will also be the first point of contact for autistic adults, their families/carers and referrers (GPs) as well as offering vital support to our clinicians. The post holder will require very strong customer service and administration skills.
