An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible, and well-motivated, Senior Administrator to join our Business support team in Children's Services. Supporting predominantly the Head of Service along with other team managers in the Children's services.

Children’s Speech and Language Therapy

Children’s Community Nursing

Children’s Neurodevelopmental Assessment

Children’s Learning Disability and Autism Teams

You will need to be computer literate and ideally have excellent word processing skills. Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a health care setting, along with the ability to organise and prioritise work efficiently. You will be required to work using your own initiative within a busy team, be able to communicate well and have an adaptable and flexible attitude to your work.

This role will be varied and rewarding role that will provide an opportunity, for the right person, to become a key member of the team. A high degree of flexibility is required to meet the day-to-day challenges of the service. Excellent time management and communication skills are required.

A mix of home and office-based work is anticipated to deliver this role and this is a part-time post working 30 hours per week.

To be help in providing a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to senior staff within Children’s Services Business Support Team ensuring that a high quality service is delivered at all times.

To guarantee that all functions are carried out in accordance with agreed procedures, protocols and time-scales, reporting to the Team Leader as necessary.

To participate in administrative duties ensuring that all administrative staff are supported and all patients, staff and visitors are treated in a professional and pleasant manner.
