**Head of Performance Media**

**Chester (2 days office / 3 days home)**

Reporting into a very friendly and down to earth CMO, this position will see you lead a close-knit team of 10, driving the strategic direction across primarily Google but also Paid Social, Apple App and Youtube. This is a hugely pivotal role for the organisation;you will be managing the lions’ share of the marketing budget, having ownership of a £20+ million annual spend across these channels

**Working in both a B2B and B2C context, your day to day would look like**:

- You will lead and develop the world-class Performance Media Team of 10
- Attend and contribute to the weekly ‘Trade Meeting’ agenda, driving growth through innovation
- Have full ownership of the Performance Media budget and KPIs
- Work closely with the BI and Product teams to leverage technology platforms, tools, web analytics and competitor monitoring to drive campaign efficiency and performance
- Responsible for the implementation of the Paid Media Strategy including Paid Search, Paid Social and Display
- Manage relationships with key third parties and leverage them to maximise business benefit
- You will be a stakeholder in any internal projects and developments within the company that could affect Paid Media Performance
- You will be expected to work with colleagues across the marketing function and wider business to exploit synergies and ensure a collaborative and optimal approach at every opportunity
- Responsible for managing a team of PPC specialists including day-to-day management, mentoring, and training

**Your skills & experience**:

- Extensive experience of digital marketing experience including hands-on experience in using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Apple’s Search Ads, Microsoft Ads, YouTube, Facebook etc
- Experience in Travel or Retail highly desirable
- Evidence of building and leading a performance team of ideally 8+
- Experience in working with conversion KPI’s e.g. bookings, revenue and ROI
- Capable of implementing a Paid Search, Paid Social, and Display Strategy
- Hands-on experience in building, growing and optimising large-scale multi-region Paid Search portfolios in excess of £20 million
- A seamless ability to source, analyse and interpret findings from data
- Extensive understanding of Bid Management
