Founded in 1986, CML is a long established and highly successful civil engineering contractor specialising in railway engineering.

We are a primary contractor for Network Rail delivering a diverse range of projects from earthworks and embankment stabilisation schemes to major structural projects such as footbridge replacements and bridge refurbishments.

Our head office is based in Leeds but we have offices in Ferryhill, York, Sheffield, Wigan, Glastonbury and Colchester and we operate nationwide.

The Recruitment team play an integral role in supporting CML’s people strategy and offer professional support and guidance to all areas of the business. Our objective is to help Hiring Managers attract and recruit the right people with the right values for the right job.

**Role & Responsibilities**:
Administer the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, including:

- Creating and reviewing job descriptions, identifying key skills and behavioural competencies
- Creating, publishing and managing vacancy advertisements across various platforms.
- Reviewing/shortlisting CV’s and uploading to ATS
- Work closely with HR through to offer stage.
- Liaise with recruiting managers and department heads on all recruitment requirements and keep them updated on their vacancies.
- Representing CML at external recruitment events
- Provide administrative support to the wider HR team, as and when required.

**Skills/Experience**
- Proven experience of recruitment processes and systems within a busy HR office
- Must be proactive and extremely organised with excellent communication and a good eye for detail
- Experienced in the use of recruitment technology and databases
- Experience in construction, rail or related sectors desirable
- Fully competent in the use of IT & Microsoft Office suites
