Finance Officer at Taunton Town Council

**Location: Flexible / Deane House, Taunton**
**Main Purpose of Role**:
To support the Deputy RFO and Finance Manager in ensuring that all aspects of the Council’s financial and payroll arrangements are managed in accordance with legislation and statutory requirements.
**Overall Responsibilities**:
The Finance Officer will be responsible on a day to day basis for ensuring that the Council’s finances and payroll arrangements are managed and monitored constantly for accuracy, efficiency, and clarity and in accordance with all legal requirements.
The Finance Officer will work closely with, and support, the Deputy RFO and Finance Manager to ensure that all financial data and associated activities are managed, inputted and monitored on a regular and timely manner and to keep up to date all necessary personnel, but in particular the Town Clerk & RFO on all aspects of the Council’s financial arrangements.
