**Job Title**: Impact Officer
**Responsible to**: General Manager
**Job Purpose**: To provide strong evidence to support the charity’s funding raising initiatives
To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the charity’s activities and demonstrate the impact of its work
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Main Responsibilities**:
**Impact management**
- Support the purchase and implementation of impact management software and systems including liaising with and training staff as appropriate;
- Ensure the impact of each activity is collated and accurately measured;
- Support the team to analyse and evidence each area of activity;
- Identify key learning points from each activity and provide evidence in the design of similar future events;
- Write evaluation impact reports for internal and external audiences and assist the Marketing Officer in publishing appropriate details;
- Produce an annual impact report; and
- Support the Marketing Officer to provide content detailing the impact of our work e.g. newsletters, social media, press releases etc
**Data Management**
- Carry out routine data cleaning, in line with GDPR to ensure that all data stored is valid and robust;
- Support the staff team with requests for data and evidence;
- Support our marketing and digital development programme, improving and expanding our skills, systems, and processes across the organization; and
- Be committed to safeguarding principles and be willing to put the welfare of children and young people at the forefront of your work and to report concerns in accordance with YMCA Taunton’s internal referral arrangements
**Education**:
While we would welcome the knowledge gathered through relevant qualifications, we are just as interested in relevant work experience
- Good general education including Maths and English at level 2 or equivalent;
- Ideally supported by qualifications/memberships including Psychology or Social Sciences
**Experience**:
- A background in Quantitative analysis experience;
- Appreciation of qualitative results;
- High level of proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, CRMs and databases;
- Some experience of facilitating focus groups / other primary qualitative research;
- Experience with a similar organisation, or social science research; and
- Can demonstrate past experience in producing accurate, timely and concise reports
