**Accounts Payable Assistant**

**Location: Frimley**

**Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 DOE**

As part of a busy, high volume finance department you will report to the Group Purchase Ledger Manager, supporting the day to day running of the company purchase ledgers.

**Responsibilities**:
Working closely with the Group Purchase Ledger Manager.

High volume invoice processing across multiple companies. Seeking the relevant approvals needed from branch managers, following company policies.

Coding invoices to the correct nominal accounts and departments.

Preparation of weekly/bi-weekly payment proposals.

Supplier statement reconciliation

Ensure the accounts payable ledgers are accurate, fully allocated and any old or outstanding items are investigated or brought to the attention of the purchase ledger manager.

Processing employee expenses, matching receipts and seeking additional approvals where needed.

Confidently address employee expense queries and liaise openly with management.

**Person Specification**:
Good excel skills to include VLOOKUP and pivot tables.

Highly organised with attention to detail.

Excellent time keeping

Professional manner with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across departments.

Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience within a similar role is an advantage but not essential

Experience in Sage accounting systems an advantage but not essential
