Great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Finance Clerk to join a friendly finance team in Brighouse.

The role of the account’s assistant is a finance team support role. They are responsible for providing accounting and administrative support to the finance team.

**Objectives**:

- To verify supplier invoices for goods received via our purchase order system and enter onto the computer system.
- To verify supplier invoices for utilities/overheads and enter onto the computer system.
- To create new supplier & customer accounts.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements.
- To verify and check month end creditors report.
- To produce and issue sales invoices, including milestone invoices.
- To post sales ledger receipts and purchase ledger payments.
- Performing bank reconciliation.
- To assist with other Finance department functions as required.

Education and/or Experience: GCSE’s/A-Levels from college or sixth form high school; or at least 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
