We are seeking a Night Porter to join our team at the Holiday Inn Telford—Ironbridge. Offering exceptional customer service you will be responsible for the security of hotel guests and the property as a whole. You must be able to think quickly to resolve any guest enquiries whilst offering a professional and excellent friendly service.

This role is being offered on a 40 hour a week permanent contract. Whilst the role is based mainly at the Holiday Inn you may be required to work at the 2 other hotels (in central Telford) within the wider Southwater Event Group from time to time.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Assist on reception, bar and food and beverage/conference areas as required
- Carry out security checks
- Programme accurate guest wake up calls
- Prepare breakfast trays
- In the Night Managers/Supervisors absence, complete the end of day task list and the night audit
- Handle any staff and guest issue/emergency effectively

**Skills/Experience Required**:

- Able to demonstrate a proven track record in a customer service role.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of internal and external contacts.
- Self-motivated with the drive and energy to see a task through to completion.
- Excellent IT skills - basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
