Payroll Coordinator

**Responsibilities**:
- Monthly Payroll Processing: Utilise a combination of managed services and direct processing to accurately process monthly payroll.
- Administration Services: Provide high-quality administration support to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Time & Attendance System Management: Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, assisting in the management of our time & attendance system.
- New Starters and Leavers: Process employee onboarding and offboarding activities related to payroll.
- Absence Processing: Handle monthly absence calculations in compliance with legislation, entitlements, and Company Policies.
- Company Pension Scheme Management: Oversee the Company Pension scheme, including auto enrolments and processing of payments.
- Scanning & Electronic Filing: Utilize the HR system for scanning and electronic filing purposes.

Accountabilities & Performance Measures:
- Adherence to Financial Calendar: Ensure payroll is run according to the financial calendar and cut-off deadlines.
- Timeliness: Meet strict timescales to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.
- Systems Knowledge: Acquire proficiency in in-house payroll systems and effectively utilize them.
- Monthly Reports: Generate and deliver monthly payroll reports to relevant stakeholders.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2-3 years of payroll experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with managed payroll operating systems.
- Knowledge of time & attendance systems.
- Highly organized with the ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Enjoy working with people as part of a team.
Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm & Fridays 8.30am - 3pm
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
