Receptionist/legal Administrator

Following continued expansion, Neilsons Solicitors and Estate Agents are looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to join our residential conveyancing team at our Head Office, at 138 St Johns Road, EH12 8AY.
The full time role is an excellent opportunity to join one of Edinburgh’s top firms. Ideally we are looking for individuals with at least 1 years’ experience of working in a Legal Secretary role or similar legal background. However, we would also consider new graduates with legal qualifications looking to gain such experience.
**Main duties and responsibilities involve:
- **
- Instructing legal searches
- Assisting solicitors with general correspondence and documents.
- Assisting solicitors with deeds registration and LBTT submissions
- File management, including storage and archiving
- Assisting solicitors with ID checks and law society compliance
- Filing, scanning and photocopying
- All tasks required to assist solicitors with daily running of office

- Highly organised and client driven with good attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of business
- Ability to work to critical deadlines and effectively time manage workload
- IT and confident typing skills
- Interest in conveyancing and the property market
**Salary**: Commensurate with experience
