Debt Advisor Officer required for UK regulator of Pensions, Brighton, East Sussex £ £27,410, full time, hybrid working (1 day a week in Office).

As the Debt Advisor Officer, you will deal with the outstanding debt and action the debt recovery processes required. A "can do" approach and communication skills at all levels is advantageous with excellent attention to detail and accuracy supporting this customer service focused team.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Collection of unpaid levies or fines outstanding in line the Debt Recovery processes including inbound and outbound calling.
- Resolution of debtor queries received through various channels within SLA (Service Level Agreement).
- Deal with Hardship requests and payment plans.
- Deal with reviews of cases and any associated write offs.
- Dealing with payments, reconciliations, and banking processes.

**Essential and desirable**:

- Knowledge of all aspects of Debt Recovery
- Experience of invoicing and banking processes and functions as well as reconciliations
- Experience of dealing with inbound calls in a Debt Recovery function
- Sales ledger experience including reconciliation of payments.
- Ability to resolve complicated queries
