Working as part of a highly regarded, small and supportive team, you will take an active role in student casework, covering a variety of issues, and including sensitive, topical and potentially high-profile student cases, within a procedural and regulatoryframework.

You will work closely with all members of the team to deliver a high-quality service in a fast paced and stimulating environment, with an emphasis on high levels of efficiency, accuracy and adherence to deadlines at all times.

**Skills/Experience**
- Have a good honours degree (or equivalent experience).
- Substantial experience of complaints, appeals and/or conduct related casework.
- Excellent and effective drafting skills with a strong focus on drafting communications and documentation.
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to undertake work of a confidential and sensitive nature appropriately and in line with GDPR principles
- Effective organisational and time management skills with the ability to complying with internal and external deadlines and requirements.
- Excellent record-keeping skills, to ensure the existence of comprehensive and accurate audit trails.
- Experience of working within a regulatory or compliance environment, with experience of working within a legal or higher education environment an advantage.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage student casework, covering a wide range of issues and including sensitive, topical and potentially high profile cases.
- Draft formal documents and correspondence with clarity and accuracy, capable of withstanding scrutiny and potential challenge.
- Collate documentation and evidence, ensuring accuracy and consistency at all times.
- Deal with highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately and in line with good practice and legal requirements.
- Maintain clear and unambiguous records, capable of withstanding scrutiny and potential challenge.
- Effective use of prioritisation and organisational skills in order to adhere to with internal and external deadlines and requirements.

Hours of work are 35 hours a week for 10-12 weeks approximately on a temporary basis.
