We are working with a Client based within Heywood who are in need of a Finance Assistant to join their team. Working closely with the Accounts Manager and wider Finance Department, you will maintain the financial health and stability of the organisation.

**Responsibilities**
- Liaising with customers and clients, internal and external, in resolving queries, providing invoices, and managing card payments and setting up direct debits.
- Formulating reports for overdue payments and running credit reports when required.
- Building and maintaining close working relationships with clients/ customers
- Working closely with the company director in establishing and meetings the needs of the business.
- Keeping up to date with costings, figures, and receipts in ensuring that all is accounted for.
- Inputting data and rectifying discrepancies in ensuring figures are correct and up to date.
- Managing contracts between suppliers, clients and other contractors associated with the business.
- Following company procedures in managing bad debt with high-risk clients and customers.

**Essential Skills & Experience**
- Must have AAT Level 2 qualification/ currently undergoing study **OR** demonstrate knowledge having worked within a similar role
- Confidently process high volumes of invoices & data
- Confident with IT and telephone systems.
- Previous experience in navigating accounts and related software systems.
- Able to manage multiple workloads at any one time.
- Time management skills and attention to detail
