**About Our Client**:
Our client is a well-known non-profit organisation based in Horsforth, Leeds. You'd be reporting into the HR Manager and working alongside the additional part-time HR Officer.

Key responsibilities of the Part-Time HR Officer will be:

- Coordination and management of the recruitment process pre-and post-interview; including (but not limited to) supporting managers/team leaders to develop Job Descriptions and adverts, placing adverts, managing the administration of our Applicant Tracking system and carrying out all post offer administration.
- Processing DBS checks for employees and ensuring that employee checks are updated and renewed as required.
- Processing Payroll on a monthly basis, liaising with the Finance team to ensure they have all of the information they require, completing all employee documentation in a timely manner and ensuring that all employee records are up to date on PeopleHR.
- First point of contact for all employee queries, referring to Head of People and Culture as required. Responsibility for monitoring the HR services inbox on a regular basis.
- Responsibility for monitoring sickness across the organisation via monthly reporting, identifying employees who have reached action trigger points and supporting managers to take action as required (this will initially be with the support of the Head of People and Culture).
- Supporting the Head of People and Culture with the resolution of employee relations cases and the management of change projects (for example redundancy and TUPE). Taking notes at all meetings as required.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Experience of working in a HR team
- Experience of working in a role which requires strong attention to detail, working with confidential information and requirement to multi-task
- Experience of providing an excellent level of customer service
- Experience of working unsupervised, on own initiative and proactively
- CIPD Level 3 qualified (desirable)
