As a Team Leader in our OFSTED regulated home, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of the children under our care. Your experience and leadership will contribute to maintaining a safe, supportive, and enriching atmosphere for our Children.
- **Key Responsibilities for this role**:_
- Provide leadership and guidance to support workers, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative team approach.
- Implement care plans and interventions tailored to the needs of the children.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the emotional, social and educational development of the children.
- Uphold high standards of safeguarding and adhere to relevant regulations and procedures.
- Engage in creative activities and play with children to promote their physical, social, and intellectual development.
- Implement routines, boundaries, and consequences appropriately and consistently, in line with the home’s policies and procedures.
- **Experience and Qualifications**:_
- A minimum NVQ Level 3 in health & social care or residential childcare or related degree or professional qualification in a relevant field.
- Practical experience of working effectively with children/young people in care with a range of complex needs, as well as previous experience of operational/staff management within a social care environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge of working with children and young people known to be vulnerable and/or who have experienced trauma, with the ability to develop and implement appropriate strategies.
- Understanding of Ofsted inspection frameworks and associated regulations.
