Job description

**Do you want to work with local communities to prevent and resolve anti-social behaviour and environmental issues?**

**Do you have experience of working with communities and partner organisations such as the Police, Parish Councils and voluntary organisations?**

If so, this is a great opportunity to take on a highly visible, customer focused role within our ambitious Community Response team.

**About the role**

You will undertake a number of diverse activities to prevent and resolve anti-social behaviour, environmental and street scene issues. Be a point of contact for local communities and provide a vital community response role, working with the police and other partners in reducing anti-social behaviour (ASB) in our neighbourhoods.

**This is a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months.**

You will work a shift pattern (which will include early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends based on demand) and will be expected to work unsupervised for much of the time, accessing and assessing information independently.

**Valid driving licence is an essential condition for this role.**

**About you**

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills who can work independently.

You will have practical experience of working in an area such as community safety, anti-social behaviour or environmental health.

You will have a Vocational qualification or experience to level 3 or 4 relevant to the service user group or equivalent.

You will have the ability to pass and maintain Police Vetting checks to NPPV2.
