My client, a rapidly growing firm on the outskirts of Reading are recruitment for a progressive accounts assistant on a permanent basis.
**Modern offices**
**Car park on site**
**Hybrid working (First three months in the office for training purposes)**
**Flexible working hours - **Flexible working starting any time between 08.00 to 10.00 with a 7.5 hr working day (37.5 hours a week)
**Your responsibilities will include, for your allocation of clients**:
- Post sales and purchase invoices
- Manage accounts payable mailboxes
- Supplier payment runs
- Customer and supplier queries, and client queries related to accounts receivable and payable
- Bank account reconciliations
- Day to day basic bookkeeping
- Provide excellent customer service
**To be Successful in the Role**
**If you can demonstrate the following skills and experience, we can help you grow and develop**:
- Accounts payable/receivable and basic bookkeeping experience
- Confident using Microsoft (Outlook, Excel) and the ability to pick up new systems (Xero and Dext)
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Solid attention to detail
- Organised and a problem solver
- Flexibility, with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under time pressure and to tight deadlines
