This company is a renowned back office solutions provider that specialises in the TV & Film industries and with 2024 set to be a busy year they are looking to expand the team. The solutions offered include digital management and work systems, accounting & finance and payroll solutions.

This is a varied Accounts Assistant role is a mix of accounts receivable, accounts payable and administration, preparing accounts and supporting the payroll solutions team. You will help in the management of a portfolio of clients and requires previous, relevant experience, alongside a friendly manner with great communication skills.. Ideally you will have at least 2 years+ accounting experience but recent graduates with 6 months of relevant experience will also be considered.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Assist with raising of invoices, and reconcile to the correct account
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Manage the sales ledger and debtor reports, ensuring payment of outstanding monies due
- Reconcile the payable and payroll ledgers
- Submit client RTI information to HMRC
- Upload and process the client payroll payments
- Manage the payment of client PAYE & Pension contributions
- Authorise and send payments
- Prepare weekly MI/Sales reports
- Assist with maintaining and reconciling the accounts payable ledger
- Assist with audit queries
- Previous finance experience is essential, ideally within a high volume processing environment
- Highly organised, great attention to detail and able to work to deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ideally previous experience of payroll
- Good excel skills
- Great team player with good interpersonal skills
- Self motivated, able to work to own initiative and minimum supervision
- Experience of Xero/Oracle would be an advantage but not essential
