**We have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join our team in Montrose. Whilst working with us as a Stores Operative you would also be completing a Modern Apprenticeship. Supported by our team in Montrose and a local external assessor, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and successful team and gain a nationally recognised qualification.**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To securely pack all items to be delivered following instruction other team members and to affix address labels and despatch notes to boxes.
- To keep the stores area clean and tidy at all times.
- To sign in and inspect any goods delivered to the stores area and file all delivery notes in store files located in the stores office.
- To check all certification for goods inward and ensure they are filed in a safe and visible location.
- To be responsible for scanning and recording all certification, this will be stored in the company’s Information Management System (IMS)
- To check that parts in the building correspond with the stock items in Sage.
- To allocate product to spares orders via Sage.
- To pick & pack spares orders (with the exception of dangerous goods where instruction will be given by Dangerous Goods Competent Person).
- To load orders as requested by the CAC’s / Workshop team according to priority.
- To book in stock items and allocate goods using Sage.
- To re-stock returned goods from the Workshop.
- To work at all times within the guidelines of the SSI Health & Safety policy.
- To attend daily meetings in order to prioritise the stores workload.
- To receive and pass to workshop all offshore tooling for checking and storing.
- Stock holding of customer held parts in line with parts holding methodology for vessels and offshore installations

- A willingness to be flexible and adaptable
- A willingness to undertake training in line with SSI’s continuous professional development plans
- A commitment to completing the SVQ apprenticeship with support from the Deputy Operations and external assessor

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: From £4.81 per hour
