The Montrose Manufacturing Centre of Excellence are proud to have supported Apprentices through their Modern Apprenticeship for over 30 years, providing career paths for school leavers and young people.

**Take your career to the next level**

Our Manufacturing Centre of Excellence, located in Montrose have recently identified a need to fill its talent pipeline, by creating a number of Apprentice positions.

During your 4-year Apprenticeship, you will attend the Angus Training Group (Arbroath) full time, for the first year, where you will complete the SVQ Level 2 in Performing Engineering Operations. Additionally, you will attend a College of Further Education on a part time basis where you will complete either an NC (SCQF Level 6) or HNC (SCQF Level 7) qualification that is pertinent to your Modern Apprenticeship role.

Upon completion of Year 1 of your apprenticeship, you will integrate into, and rotate through our team of experienced assembly and test departments or, depending on your role/discipline, be based in the department for an immersive three years of hands-on training. You will gain experience from our teams working within assembly & test, engineering, machining, maintenance and inspection & testing in accordance with controlled, documented procedures, across all our products.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to complete an apprenticeship, to be supported in gaining a formal qualification in Engineering, alongside a vocational (SVQ Level 3) qualification via the apprentice framework, to gain an understanding of our products and the industry, whilst earning.
