**Department**:
Reporting to the SOV Shift Manager, you will join our Service UK team in the Northeast of Scotland working in support of our offshore windfarms. Your role will involve operating as part of a focused team, keeping our windfarms in production through progressive material management, and planning to maintain an efficient parts management system.

**Responsibilities**:
In line with Vestas' quality, HSE, and Operational procedures, you will be responsible for the smooth and effective management of all materials delivered to, dispatched from, and stored on board our Service Operations Vessel. With a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, you will ensure all materials are controlled whilst on shift and efficiently coordinated to support our maintenance activities offshore.

**You will also be responsible for**:

- Compliance with Vestas' Health & Safety, Quality, and Operational procedures, and engage with and live by Vestas values
- Control the receiving and dispatching of materials from the SOV, and maintain a stock inventory of spares and tools, through periodic & annual stock counting.
- Control of all COSHH and hazardous items, ensure the SOV warehouse is clean, tidy, and safe, and adequate quality inspections are conducted on materials
- Arrange and coordinate transportation, customs clearances, and customs paperwork for returning spares and tooling, and administrate and control all delivery and conformity paperwork
- Coordinate the testing of all site tooling, PPE, lifting & calibrated equipment, liaise with customers in support of material movements
- Maintain a safe working environment, control and manage the processing of quarantined materials, and prepare and assist with the loading/offloading of materials from our service operations vessels.
- Liaising with the Supply Chain department on spares, and with Vestas's tool department on tooling, and ordering of consumable items from local vendors

- Experience with warehousing, logistics, and stock management in an offshore operational environment.

**Competencies**:

- Good IT skills (preferred: SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Full driver's license, ideally with Forklift Truck
- Planning & Coordination experience
- Good time management, proactive policymaker
- Accountable person who takes responsibility for actions, the person who supports colleagues, Motivated and determined to succeed
- Ability to be efficient, keep tasks simple and ensure they are delivered
- Good communicator and able to proactively collaborate with colleagues, problem solver who will positively seek support
