Part Time Assistant Administrator

OBJECTIVE
We require a part time Assistant Administrator for our growing school’s photography business based in Winchcombe.
You will assist the Administration & Sales Office, ensuring all activities are organised, planned for, and completed, in line with company standards and expectations.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer service call handling and dispute resolutions
Database entry, mail merges and record keeping
Organising diary dates and co ordinating with other staff members
Online ordering, trips to post office and shops
Booking courier collections and packing when necessary
Processing photo orders when required
Dealing with commission totals and issuing cheques
Ensuring adherence to quality standards and company expectations
Developing effective working relationships with staff and clients
Managing a log of all customer liaisons and identifying any improvement opportunities to increase customer satisfaction
Sales calls, introducing DSP to potential clients and booking new rep appointments
Working closely with area sales reps and providing office support
Flexibility to cover the changing needs of the business at each academic term
Contributing towards the cleanliness standards of the working environment
Any other activities as required to support the company and Managing Director
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is desirable but not essential
Some knowledge of administrative practices and procedures
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft suite
Experience of working in an office is desirable but not essential
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Working independently with ability and confidence, whilst being compliant with internal policies and processes
Strong organisational skills and time management to meet deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good verbal and written communication skills for a diverse range of clientele
Be able to multi-task and stay focused on delivering the end goal
Good telephone manner
Able to take direction and managerial feedback in a positive manner
Polite and friendly attitude
Able to be flexible with working hours and open to overtime in busy periods
DETAILS AND BENEFITS
Part time, 2 days a week (Monday & Tuesday) 8am-4pm (30 minutes lunch) with overtime throughout the year
7 weeks company shutdown-1 week at Easter,4 weeks of summer, 2 weeks atChristmas
