**About the role**:
To catalogue the money and medals collection on the British Museum collections database.
Key areas of responsibility
To create, edit and amend digital object records for the money and medals collection of c.800,000 objects.
To support curators in cataloging of the collection and making it publicly accessible
To assist with enquiries from the public
To assist in the general day-to-day running of the department
To act as an advocate for the Museum
Other duties as assigned.
**About you**:
Experience of digital collections databases and spreadsheets.
Some experience of working with a museum collection.
Open, effective communicator with good spoken and written English.
Ability to work as part of a team.
