We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has a proven track record working as an administrator. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills. The post holder will be supporting the WC&HIVS maternity team, undertaking a variety of tasks.

This role will also support the Care Group Secretaries to co-ordinate the administration requirements of the wider Care Group which will include organising and minuting meetings, organising the recruitment processes and managing diaries.

The post holder will be expected to use their initiative and work flexibly.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours per week.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic people who have a proven track record working as an administrator in a busy team. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills.

This post holder will work in the Care Group office supporting with general administrative tasks as required by the Maternity team (as requested by the senior maternity management team).

The post holder will also support the Care Group Secretaries and the wider Women, Children and HIV management team.

The post holder will need to prioritise workloads, be able to work under their own initiative and be proactive in identifying administrative tasks that need completing.

Sustainability is integral to the Trust achieving the NHS Net Zero target. All staff are therefore actively encouraged and supported to implement new ways of working within their field of expertise.

The successful post holder will have a good knowledge of both electronic and paper administration systems and be able to reorganise office practice where appropriate.

They will be competent in the range of office based systems, including Excel, and be able to support a variety of maternity, specialty and care group meetings, through managing distribution lists, agendas and action logs and taking minutes.

The role includes inputting and updating the Trust’s recruitment system, supporting HR processes and amending health roster.
