Job Title: Technical Purchasing Lead
Location: Kings Lynn, Norfolk

**Salary**: £20k - £27.5K
Hours: Mon-Fri 37.5

About Us:
The Omeous Group is a specialist technical waste company, known for its innovative solutions and dedication to excellence. We are currently seeking a supply chain Lead to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for maintaining our supply chain efficiency and ensuring the cost-effective acquisition of technical services.

About the role:
You will play a vital role in managing and optimising our purchasing activities. Your main responsibilities will include the procurement of technical services, tender management, supplier negotiation, and overseeing supply chain operations to meet the company’s specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with the company's policies and regulatory standards.
- Manage supplier relationships and maintain a supplier database.
- Work closely with other leaders to understand technical requirements.
- Oversee and manage the supply chain budget, including cost analysis and savings.
- Report on supply chain performance, challenges, and achievements.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or a similar role in a technical environment.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of software and database systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
