**About The Role**:
The Metrology department here at Recipharm (formally Bespak) are looking for two Metrology Technical Operators on an initial 6-month basis. You will be based in the Central Metrology Laboratory, however you would be required to occasionally support metrology work in different areas of the business. We are looking for someone to start with us as early as next week - week commencing 5th February.

**Your Shift Pattern and salary**:

- Salary: Base = £23,533 + 15% shift premium, final salary = £27,063.
- Shift: Initially 16/5, 2 shift - 06:00 to 14:30 and 14:00 to 22:30 rotating.

There is the potential to develop into a 24/5 or 24/7 shift pattern at a later date. There is also the possibility for this position to develop into a permanent role, although this is not guaranteed.

As a Metrology Technical Operator, you will have responsibility for operating a variety of metrology equipment to provide the business with measurement data for products at various stages of the product lifecycle. The data you generate will support production, validation or development activities working with internal stakeholders across a variety of departments to deliver an effective metrology service.

**As a Metrology Technical Operator your duties will include**:

- Complete training and maintain individual records for SOPs, WI’s, SWGs and QA forms.
- Operate a variety of Metrology equipment, providing measurement data.
- Support with routine, non-routine and planned maintenance activities.
- Complete gauge validation tasks in line with engineering requirements.
- Generate data and reported that meet quality requirements.

**Metrology Technical Operator key skills and experience**:

- Ideally educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths or Statistics.
- Quality Focused - able to deal with routine & repetitive tasks.
- Previous experience of working with data.
- Ability to use MS office work packages, particularly Excel.
