We are seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to join our team at Pilgrims Europe's King's Lynn site. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality engineering support to the site operations, focusing on reliability and continuous improvement of all site assets.

Job Description

The Senior Operations Engineer will work as part of our onsite Engineering Team, providing technical support and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of our site. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about maintenance and reliability, and who is looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to site operations, focusing on reliability and continuous improvement of all site assets.
  • Attend regular line performance updates – Short Interval control meetings to discuss site performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering).
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or process industry setting.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, managers, and external partners.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £50,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including a competitive pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave entitlement.
