Linden Accountants Ltd is looking for a new Office Admin Assistant to join our busy, expanding family-run practice in Bristol. We primarily help local businesses with their bookkeeping and accountancy needs, with clients ranging from small sole traders to companies with multi-million pound turnovers.
The job is part-time Monday to Friday for 4 hours per day (with flexibility in start time), with the scope for this to become full-time in the future.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Organising and maintaining filing systems.
- Scheduling appointments and meetings.
- Assisting with data entry and other administrative tasks.
- Maintaining office supplies and equipment.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail
- Creating and updating client details on our database
- Assisting in providing a smooth on-boarding experience for clients
- Managing annual confirmation statement processing and filing
- Maintaining a clean and organized office environment
- Planning and coordinate events such as meetings, conferences, and company parties
- Welcoming and hosting clients in meetings
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative or office support role preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work equally well independently and as part of a team
