Office Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Administration Assistant to join our team in Avonmouth.
The main responsibilities will be to support the Finance Administrator, company director and engineering team with day-to-day general office duties and administrative tasks including:
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Assist in resolving any administrative problems
- Perform general office duties including data entry, filing, and record maintenance
- Filing and maintaining the efficiency of the current filing system.
- Preparing and filing regulator returns on time and accurately (full training will be provided)
- Assisting in maintaining a welcoming and productive office environment, including preparing refreshments for meetings with external parties.
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent and concise communication skills
- Able work well on own initiative and within a small team
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office - particularly Excel and Word
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent typing skills
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 9 months
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
