Cardiff, United Kingdom Ty Hafan Full time

**Salary**: Up to £48,444 per annum (depending on experience)

We are seeking a Head of Fundraising - Grants & Trusts, Individual Giving & Legacies to join the Income Generation Team.

**About Tŷ Hafan**

Tŷ Hafan is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care, respite and dedicated support to children and young people with life-shortening conditions across Wales. Support is provided to children and their families at our hospice in Sully, in community settings, and in the family home. As a charity we greatly value the input, contribution and commitment of our many volunteers and supporters, without whose support we would not be able to provide the services that we do. Our families describe us as ‘a lifeline’ as we enable them to create precious memories with their children during their short lives, as well as end of life and beyond.

At Tŷ Hafan our care team is dedicated to upholding our vision, purpose, and values, all of which are at the core of all that we do.

**About the role**

This is a very exciting time to join the income generation team at Tŷ Hafan, as we are about to release our plans for reaching our ambition of supporting every family whose child’s life will be short.

In order to deliver our Vision of a Wales where no family faces the unimaginable loss of their child alone, we need to raise significantly more money. This role is crucial in helping us to do just that.

You will have the opportunity to lead the Grants & Trusts team to work alongside colleagues in care to identify opportunities to secure funding for specific key services which have a significant impact on the lives of families in Wales.

You’ll also have the opportunity to help Tŷ Hafan to develop inspiring messaging that encourages people across Wales to help families of children with life-shortening conditions, and to ensure that anyone who supports Tŷ Hafan has the best experience possible. Our donors are incredible and this role will be crucial in making sure their experience of supporting Tŷ Hafan is always rewarding.

If you have significant experience of working in a fundraising role with either experience of fundraising from Trusts and Foundations or of fundraising through Individual Giving and Legacies and would be excited to lead a team to deliver ambitious growth to ensure no family faces the death of their child alone, we would love to hear from you.

**The benefits of working for Tŷ Hafan include**:

- Holiday entitlement of 30 days (rising to 32 days with service) plus Bank Holidays
- Life assurance (death in service benefit)
- Wellbeing support - employee assistance program, which provides a range of free services including counselling, financial and legal support
- Unlimited access to a 24/7 online GP as well as a range of other health experts
- Healthcare Cash Plan - claim back the cost for appointments and treatment such as dental, optical or physio
- Cycle to work scheme
- Technology, mobile phone and will writing schemes
- Discounted gym membership and shopping discounts (including 25% of all purchases from any Ty Hafan Retail shop)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £48,444.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
