**Purpose of Job**:
The Reconciliations Team within Employer Solutions provides reconciliations services on the assets within a wide range of International Retirement Savings & Pension Plans, Limited companies and Share Trusts. Currently the team reconcile in excess of 95,000 lines of assets per month across our clients.

You will ensure the prompt and accurate reconciliation of the above assets using a JTC in-house reconciliation package. Following up reconciliation differences with teams across the JTC Employer Solutions business and external fund managers / custodians to ensure these differences are resolved in a timely manner. Although the majority of the role will focus on reconciliations work, the role holder can be expected to assist the Accounts Preparation and Bookkeeping teams as and when workloads dictate. All three teams work closely together and share the same Senior Manager.

**Main Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Regular reconciliation of assets;
- Identifying, investigating and resolving reconciliation issues;
- Liaising with staff across the JTC Employer Solutions business to resolve above;
- Liaising with fund managers & custodians to resolve above;
- Maintaining necessary documentation as evidence of reconciliation work conducted;
- Escalate reconciliation differences in accordance with Escalation policy;
- Monitor suspense account balances to ensure they are cleared in a timely manner;
- Assist Accounts Preparation team with accounts preparation tasks as and when required;
- Assist Bookkeeping team with any bookkeeping related tasks as and when required
- Ability to work unsupervised;
- Ad hoc projects as directed.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Experience of working within a financial environment - preferably within a team;
- Good understanding of asset reconciliation processes;
- Strong organisational skills and interpersonal skills;
- Good communication and strong customer service skills;
- Effectively use own initiative and demonstrate high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
