Grafton Banks Finance are actively supporting a client who are looking for an Accounts Assistant with strong reconciliations skills. Our client, based in Haywards Heath, are an exciting and growing business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone witha finance background within both accounts payable and receivable.

Duties will include:

- Support a monthly statement process for key accounts on the payable and receivable ledgers.
- Perform key reconciliations daily and weekly across the bank accounts and systems across the business.
- Handle supplier queries and disputes with appropriate business engagement in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide analysis of reconciling items showing monthly ageing.
- Identify and recommend process and system changes for first line control failures leading to unreconciling items being created

Desired skills and experience:

- Experienced with bank reconciliations and complex supplier statements recs
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to commute to haywards heath 1-2 days per week
- Ability to navigate Excel (VLOOKUP’s, sumifs) confidently
- Working to monthly deadlines
