Genpower is the exclusive distributor for Hyundai Power Products for the UK and Ireland.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit an effective Warehouse Administrator to manage administration activities for our warehousing and distribution operations. This is an exciting and varied role and will require involvement in all areas of the day to day operation of the warehouse. You will also be responsible for delivering a high level of customer service, supporting with general enquiries and working with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

The role is based at our Newport site - a 100,000 sq ft new build, with 16,000 pallet capacity and 10 loading docks.

We are looking for a meticulous, highly organised individual with a solid understanding of administrative processes. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use initiative to prioritise workloads. You must be able to work with confidentiality and remain calm under pressure when managing day-to-day tasks. Previous administrative and stock management experience is essential for this role.

**Main duties**:

- Providing general administrative support in line with our core business processes
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
- Scanning documents.
- Supporting with sales order processing and dispatch administrative procedures.
- Contacting hauliers to organise pallet collections.
- Adhering to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
- Consolidating all the dispatch notes to create manifests.
- Tracking stock movements between Genpower sites, covering for all different order types, transactions and stock systems.
- Contacting the relevant site at both source and receiving location to investigate the whereabouts of the stock
- Recording, tracking and reporting on the findings.
- Liaising with departments to resolve internal stock queries.
- Maintaining and reviewing inventory levels in the warehouse to ensure stock accuracy and efficiency.
- Implementing stock rotation.
- Completing daily stock cycle count.
- Scheduling the drone stock checks and investigating discrepancies.
- Creating business documents and completing paperwork as required.

**Skills, qualifications and/or experience required**:

- Previous administration experience (2 years+) ideally within a similar working environment.
- Working knowledge of stock systems and processes.
- Good telephone manner and the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Good problem solving skills to be able to look at various information from multiple system and piece together scenarios based on facts
- Analytical mindset and problem solving skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Works with initiative to achieve results
