CAF Rolling Stock UK Limited is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Quality Assurance Manager to supervise all facets of the Quality Strategy and guarantee adherence to the Quality Management Framework across diverse initiatives. This position will report directly to the Head of Quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct the Manufacturing Quality Assurance team.
- Fulfill quality-related obligations including Inspection Plans, Safety-Related Defects, Control Sheets, and additional responsibilities.
- Possess the authority to suspend manufacturing operations if quality or safety standards are not fulfilled.
- Engage with clients to address quality concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate manufacturing methods, materials, and personnel in specialized processes.
- Preserve quality documentation in electronic formats.
- Oversee incidents and nonconformities associated with manufacturing processes.
- Support manufacturing teams with troubleshooting and analytical tasks.
- Conduct assessments to develop process enhancement strategies.
- Provide assistance for internal and final inspections alongside clients.
- Degree qualified or substantial experience in a related discipline.
- Familiarity with quality methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis).
- In-depth understanding of ISO 9001 standards, IRIS standards, and technical regulations relevant to the rail industry.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly with Microsoft software.
- Ability to maintain motivation and concentration in a high-pressure environment.
