Intranet Content Migration Coordinator

The School of GeoSciences is committed to creating a dynamic and engaging digital workplace. Our new SharePoint based intranet will be the heart of our internal communication and collaboration efforts. We are looking for a dedicated individual to drive content migration and help create a strong base for School communication.
**The Opportunity**:
As our Intranet Content Migration Coordinator, specialising in SharePoint, you will be a vital part of the team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and executing content migration from various sources to SharePoint.
- Collaborating with content owners to maintain data integrity, organisation, and structure.
- Implementing SharePoint best practices to optimize information architecture.
- Conducting thorough quality assurance checks to guarantee a user-friendly experience.
- Helping to train users to get the most from the Intranet.
**Your skills and attributes for success:
- Proficiency with Intranet technologies (experience of SharePoint is desirable), with a strong understanding of their capabilities and functionalities.
- Solid organisational skills, keen attention to detail, and for problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling work across various teams and content owners.
- A passion for ensuring a seamless and engaging digital workplace for all employees.
