Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Medication Administering Assistant to join our team. As a Medication Administering Assistant, you will be responsible for making sure that Residents in our Care Home receive their prescribed medication in a timely and safe manner. This part time job would suit an ex-nurse or someone with experience in Residential Care Home Medication Administering. It is 2 hours on a morning, 8-10am, and 2 hours on an afternoon, 4-6pm, each day, so would suit someone who wants to earn a bit extra in retirement without the responsibility of long hours to work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Administer medications to Residents as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Follow proper medication administration procedures and protocols
- Document medication administration accurately and timely
- Monitor Residents for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of medication storage areas

**Skills**:

- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent clerical skills, including accurate record keeping and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work within GDPR.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
