About the Team

The Travel & Expense Team are a small but busy team who work cross functionally and have high stakeholder engagement. We support staff on all aspects of their travel journey and are constantly looking at how we can enhance our service offering.

About the Role

An exciting new role within the team, to manage all areas of expense reimbursement and credit card transactions, including journals, payments, compliance reviews, corporate cards, balance sheet reconciliation and reporting. This role requires a highly motivated individual who is able to multi-task and self-manage as well as being a strong team player. The position requires a high level of stakeholder interaction for both external and internal. We are looking for a confident and detail-oriented individual who is organised and quality conscious and has a willingness to learn. A function of this role will also be working closely with the accounts payable team and the Group Travel Manager.

Key responsibilities- Management of the Expense and Corporate Card inboxes- Review expense and credit card reports submitted ensuring these are in line with the Corporate T&E policy- Review and reconciliation of contractor expense invoices- Ownership of Expense process including, compliance reviews and payment runs in multiple currencies- Ownership of Corporate Cards processes and schemes- Administration of Corporate Card programmes - credit cards, prepaid cards- Reconciliation of the Corporate card accounts and petty cash- Financial month and year end processes including journals, prepayments & accruals and audit support- Adhoc expense reporting as requested- Producing monthly balance sheet control reconciliations for expense and credit card accounts and posting required adjustment journals

Management of:
- Expense Workshops- Expense User Guides- Leavers Notifications

Travel Management Company (TMC) Responsibilities to include- Travel Reporting
- working with the TMC to provide reports for LT/ELT- Preparing PP as/when needed for travel & expense workshops/meetings and educational drop ins- Shadowing the Group Travel Manager when working with airlines, hotels and other travel suppliers & taking on Group Travel Manager responsibilities when on annual leave- Ad hoc tasks as assigned including participation in Finance projects.

Management of content for:
- Internal Intranet- Focus Groups Meetings

About You- Able to demonstrate knowledge of corporate travel and/or previous experience in a travel related role- An interest or passion for travel would be a bonus- Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft office in particular Excel and PowerPoint (must-have)- Experienced user of Workday would be preferable but not essential- Strong organization and time-management skills- Collaborative team player, with good communication skills- Must be a self-starter
