About this role
Team Overview
The Telecommunication Expense Management team manages data/voice circuits, telephone services and mobile wireless operations globally inclusive of our Aladdin clients. They also manage the invoice and expense management associated with all our Telco vendors. This includes oversight of payment to all our carriers. They manage a budget of over $40 million. The team is responsible for management of the inventory of all telecom services. The team's partners include Networking, UCC, Finance, SVM and CTS. Deliverables include both BAU and projects.
Role Responsibility:
- Telecommunication expense management (working closely with our Telecom Expense Management partner, Tangoe)
- Strategic and tactical management of mobility operations with our carrier relationships in EMEA, inclusive of the UK Vodafone BAU activities
- Actively handle mobile carrier relationships in EMEA. There are 4,000 mobile lines in the UK and 6,000+ in EMEA. This role includes leading corporate mobile services for our employees by provisioning new and upgraded devices as well as handling disconnection of services
- Delivering a high level of quality service in a fiscally sound model whilst adhering to corporate policies patiently. BAU management in the UK office and liaison responsibilities with the balance of the EMEA office contacts per location
- Liaison with Tangoe to move as many EMEA office locations over to a Tangoe provisioning model to redirect BAU provisioning to our 3rd party partner vs a local staff member in country. (In some cases, an Office Manager, Deskside, Facilities personnel or combination depending upon location).
