We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven individual to lead our metal cutting department. As a key player in our fast-paced environment, you will oversee operations in a business that dispatches over 400 orders per day.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise the metal cutting department, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of orders.
- Coordinate with production teams to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.
- Oversee quality control procedures to ensure precision cutting of sheet materials.
- Train and mentor team members to maintain high standards of productivity and craftsmanship.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflow and optimise operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Provide leadership and support to motivate team members and foster a positive work culture.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in metal cutting techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
