**Warehouse Supervisor - Saturday**

**Basic shift overview**:

- **10 hoursday**:

- 8.00am to 6pm every Saturday
- £15.00 per hour
- Paid breaks
- Immediate Start
- **Forklift Licence necessary**

**The Role**:

- We are currently looking for a Saturday Shift Supervisor to lead our small warehouse team based in our factory in Henfield.
- Within the role your duties will meet the operational needs of the warehouse which is primarily the filling, sealing and packing of water into aluminium cans
- You will be the senior member of a three-person team whose collective duties are to:
Loading empty cans and lids onto a state-of-the-art canning line that fills and seals, still and sparkling water into branded cans. o Building boxes o Removing product from machinery and packing into boxes o Sealing and labelling boxes and stacking onto pallets o Wrapping pallets all products on the assembly line

**In your supervisory role you will strive to**:

- Ensure the quality of the product against agreed standards.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene in the production warehouse and associated workspaces.
- Ensure breaks are taken at the appropriate time by all team members.
- Ensure all Health & Safety standards and company policies are adhered.
- Work towards a safe culture by developing safe behaviours.
- Challenge, improve, and maintain practices.
- Be alert to potential problems, identify root cause of failures and aim to prevent them from occurring. Solve difficult problems that others can’t.
- Over time become familiar with the mechanics and set up of the machinery to be able to trouble shoot and carry out minor fixes.
- Take some responsibility for your own training to ensure a quick and effective response.
- Receive deliveries into the warehouse.
- Ensure that the warehouse is kept in an organised and tidy manner to ensure efficiency.
- Be the main contact for the Factory Manager
- Use appropriate judgement as to whether to contact the On-Call Factory

Manager during the shift when exceptional circumstances and problems occur

**Job Requirements**:

- We think this role will suit someone who is mechanically minded who takes a methodical approach to tasks.
- You must be physically able to work on your feet for the shift.
- You must be able to travel/commute to Mackley Industrial Estate in Henfield,

West Sussex
- On-site parking is available.
- You must be honest, reliable and have a positive work ethic.
- You must have the ability to verbally communicate in English.
- Experience within a similar position is not essential, but it is preferred. However, full training will be provided.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £16.00 per hour
