We are currently recruiting a Support Workers to join our client who provide supported living and community support to adults.

We are looking for support workers to join a to provide a package of care to support someone to live independently. Full

We are looking for someone with experience of working with learning disabilities and/or mental health or willingness to learn As full training will be given.. As the package of care builds the team will cover days and nights,.

You will be supporting individuals to live independently, supporting with daily tasks around the home and supporting with shopping, accessing the community, and ensuring good hygiene.

It is essential you have good communication skills are needed and caring and patient nature.

It is essential you have a UK driving license with access to a vehicle to aid in service users’ accessing the community.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Supporting day-to-day activities in the home environment.
- Supporting with cleaning and cooking and personal hygiene.
- Accompanying service users in the community and accessing activities and services outside of the home.
- Come up with creative ideas and activities and encouraging engagement.
- Observe and assessing behaviours
- Ensure accurate care plans and reports at all times.
- Assist in developing care plans.
- Support and supervise support workers.
- Liaise with outside agencies to ensure the best care. Carry out induction with staff and ongoing assessments.
- Develop professional relationships with co-workers, service users, and families.
- Attend meetings.
- Always ensure best care practices in line with policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with learning Disabilities and/or mental health is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
- Experience of working with other conditions such as Bipolar Disorder, Sensory processing disorder and global developmental disorder would be advantageous.
- Range of life skills and experience is essential.
- Understanding of safeguarding and wellbeing.
- MUST be a driver with a vehicle and hold a full valid UK Driving Licence
