The Senior Project Co-ordinator leads the coordination and delivery of Peer Power Youth Voice and Influence projects in the London region.

We seek to appoint a Senior Project Co-ordinator responsible for coordinating and delivering Peer Power Youth ‘Voice and Influence’ projects in the London region, creating impact through system change, working with our partners, and following the charity’s policies and procedures.

They will work alongside our commissioners and project funders to ensure that projects are delivered successfully, within budget and timescale, and must be able to provide excellent feedback and build ongoing relationships.

To create trusted relationships and safe working spaces to collaborate with our partners to achieve project goals.

Ensure the expertise of young people is highly valued and their voices are heard and acted upon meaningfully. Must be able to nurture the shared decision-making with young people and the team in developing through youth engagement projects and Peer Power Youth policies and procedures.

Maintain organisational culture by living the values of Peer Power Youth and modelling healthy working practices and relationships. Become a valued and proactive contributor to team development activities and core meetings.

They can work flexibly around youth engagement activity and follow Peer Power Youth’s policies and procedures.

**Experience & Skills**
- Recent and extensive experience in the coordination, development, and delivery of projects
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to plan and prioritise work
- Budget and resource management skills
- Experience of partnerships with agencies such as NHS, justice agencies, social care, housing, mental health, voluntary sector
- Experience of managing successful contracts from start to finish

**Knowledge & Competency**
- Knowledge around approaches to co-production
- Knowledge of issues and legislation impacting young people such as: justice, mental health, violence prevention, social care, and secure settings.
- Understanding of social justice and a commitment to anti-racist and anti-oppressive practice.
- Ability to connect with young people relationally with cultural competence, building trust and supporting them to influence change.
- Ability to work well within a collaborative environment
- Able to model excellent group facilitation and leadership skills
- Good written, verbal and communication skills.
- Competent in use of IT

**Job Type**: Temporary contract

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
