**Full time (37 hours per week)**

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an Income Officer to join our Customer Experience team to provide a high-quality income management service to our customers.

**The role**:
Additionally, you will work in partnership with other agencies including the DWP, local councils, support agencies, NHS and the voluntary sector to help customers, improve service delivery and the maximisation of income for our customers and to ensure customers are offered appropriate support.

**What we are looking for**:

- Educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
- Experience in an Income Recovery/customer advice / administration role
- Experience of working with internal and external teams
- Ability to negotiate
- The ability to work under pressure, assess priorities and meet targets.
- The ability to use Microsoft Office as well as a computerised housing management system
- An understanding of current issues affecting Housing
- An understanding of and commitment to diversity and customer participation.
- Ability to work outside normal working hours

Recent experience of working in a housing/income recovery environment would be beneficial.

You must also hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle with appropriate vehicle insurance.
