**The Role**

Reporting to the Assessment Delivery Manager, responsible and accountable for managing suppliers of assessment-related services and working with stakeholders to deliver company assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements, on time and within budget,while maintaining the integrity and quality associated with company assessments.

Responsible for scheduling marking activities in accordance with the overarching assessment schedule and communicating requirements to suppliers of assessment-related services and relevant stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible and accountable for commissioning assessors to ensure there is sufficient capacity and capability to meet demand
- Responsible for the training, development, and performance monitoring of suppliers of assessment related services
- Responsible for evidencing that agreed measures for ensuring integrity of the assessment process (standardisation, moderation, marker checker processes) have been achieved
- Addressing or escalating exceptions as appropriate and reporting to satisfy regulatory conditions
- Co-ordinate assessment activities to meet timescales, addressing and resolving exceptions
- Responsible for reporting assessment related data for regulatory audit to provide both current and historic information, supporting the investigation of exceptions
- Responsible for agreeing action plans to resolve and/or prevent exceptions and implementing the action plans within agreed timescales
- Responsible and accountable for creating and maintaining assessment support and training (guides, specifications, templates, and training materials etc.) to ensure they reflect the company’s expectations and requirements from suppliers
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting on assessment activity trends and monitoring assessment related costs in the context of the agreed budget
- Responsible for liaising with the company assessor community through newsletters, surveys, and virtual conferences
- Responsible for maintaining the company assessor quality through performance measures, training, and process developments which impact assessment services

**Qualifications/Skills**
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience of working in an awarding body or regulated environment
- Demonstrable experience of implementing and managing quality assurance procedures
- Demonstrable experience of effective supplier relationship management and supplier cost monitoring and control
- Highly skilled, effective and accurate communicator (written and verbally)
