Children & Family Services are actively seeking a passionate, dynamic, and skilled individual to join our team as a Strategic Co-Ordinator and by joining our team, you will contribute to a group that consistently strives for greatness.

We currently have an opportunity for 1 x temporary Strategic Co-ordinator for 22.2 hours per week (worked over 3 days) for a 12-month period. This position is crucial in helping us achieve our objectives of delivering appropriate Business Support ability across Children’s services to effectively & efficiently plan and organise and thereby deliver a comprehensive organisational support function and contributing to the forward planning of the service.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a thriving service. The work is diverse and frequently centred around ongoing projects aimed at efficiency and improving the experience for both our staff and our customers and we are looking for a forward-thinking, proactive individual who can demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

- Ability to react positively to change; a creative thinker who provides innovative solutions to meet service objectives and deliver effective results to aid continuous improvement.

- Ability to deliver a comprehensive organisational support function to Children and Families directly and through the management of teams, that adheres to the council’s corporate planning, performance and strategy.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
