We are recruiting for a temporary to permanent packaging operatives for a Global tissue paper manufacturer based in LE5. A packaging operative would be overseeing a fully automated production line within the manufacturing department. A successful applicantwill have experience in a manufacturing and production background with experience in tissue paper manufacturing being desirable as well as a familiarity with electronics and machinery within a production environment. The Packaging operative shift pattern willbe 4 on 4 off, 2x 12hr days 6am-6pm followed by 2x 12hr nights 6pm-6am.

**ABOUT THE COMPANY**
Our client is a market leader in the manufacture and distribution of tissue paper, partnering with household brands to supply supermarkets across the UK. Our Client works towards the creation of products with a reduced environmental impact and at the same timean increasingly high level of efficiency. Our client manages and coordinates the activities of 17 companies for the production and converting of tissue paper, located throughout 12 countries in Europe and the United States.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To run the packaging machine
- To run the roll pack bundler machine
- To change the polyethylene reels and their optional materials or feed the machine with skillets or cases
- To run the log saw if required
- To stop and restart the machinery when needed
- To check the compliance between the product and the related data sheet
- To draft the data sheet regarding the production control
- Small maintenance activities and adjustments
- To manage the machinery change over
- To support the colleagues in case of need and overview the end line process when required
- To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift
- To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to
