About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our client's Manufacturing team as a Papermill Operative. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the paper mill, from receiving raw materials to shipping finished products.

Responsibilities:
  • Material Handling: Safely move wrapped and labelled Parent Reels from the paper machine to the Warehouse
  • Inventory Management: Record details in the stock management system and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Quality Control: Apply stickers in line with quality procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain equipment functionality as per work instructions and assist with operating and cleaning the paper machine when available
Requirements:
  • HLT Licence (Forklift Truck)
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
  • Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and following procedures
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Remuneration and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive an estimated salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including annual leave, sick leave, and public holidays.
