**Play a key-role in our materials planning group**

As a Materials Planner will be responsible for the planning of production orders within the factory in line with customer's requirements, the capacity of the factory and coordinating and expediting the flow of materials both from suppliers and internal departments.

In this role you will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Maintain forecasts and optimise inventory levels across a portfolio of products.

**As a Materials Planner, you will also be responsible for**:

- Managing the material planning processes by preparing and updating production and purchased material schedules.
- Translating the order book into production work orders and purchase requisitions.
- Coordinating and expediting material flow to ensure consistent availability for production.
- Optimizing on hand inventory values in line with demand.
- Ensuring that documentation is completed and correct according to applicable specifications and standards.
- Generating and analysing forecasts to provide visibility of future requirements to all stakeholders.
- Managing product lead times in line with market expectations, resource, and capacity.
- Actively looking for and driving improvement opportunities to increase productivity.
- Ensuring compliance to planning and purchasing procedures.
- Maintaining the integrity of the MRP system.
- Updating customer care and sales functions with delivery dates for open orders.
- Building and maintaining cross functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Have experience of planning and executing tasks in a high pace and often-changing environment.
- Have experience of planning works orders related to project related sales (desired)
- Have experience of material and production planning and use of ERP systems.
- Have experience of placing and expediting purchase orders for subcon activities (desired)
- Have experience with SAP (desired).
- Have APICS CPIM qualified (desired).
- Have strong communication skills.
- Have ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities workloads.
- Have hands on and proactive attitude.
- Have LEAN experience.
