**Operations Supervisor**

**Location: York Depot**

**Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday**
**Salary**:£25,295 per annum, average of up to £30,000 OTE**

**About the role**

As the Operations Supervisor for the North Yorkshire contract, you will working as part of the leadership team to deliver excellence in quality and service for the Integrated Equipment service on behalf of local NHS providers and North Yorkshire Council (Social Care). You will lead a team of 18 direct reports in the field.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Technical: _
- Delivery of Key Performance & Quality Indicators
- Effectively plan daily and weekly workloads
- Integration with Customer Service Team Leader on workload planning
- Identify effective and efficient improvements.
- Understand and manage end to end de brief processes.
- Review quality performance with Operations Support manager and deliver “better outcomes” project.
- Recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
- Ensure enhanced team members (Enhanced TSE) are delivering correct onboarding and ongoing training.
- Support Logistics and Operational Support Managers in objectives and performance management.
- Safety:_
- Be a Fleet champion (18 x 3.5t)
- Be a Safety Improvement Team member
- Manage daily fleet issues ensure safe and compliant.
- Effective management of accident investigation, reporting and safety culture amongst field colleagues.
- Compliance: _
- Be audit ready.
- Uphold both compliance & and Infection Prevention Audit Documentation
- Basic Understanding of risk assessment
- Ensure fleet MOT / Service & Repairs are completed on time.
- To conduct HR and SHEQ related investigations and formal processes where required.
- Ensure all staff training is in date and planned.
- Adequate review and ongoing training Enhanced TSE’s

**Qualifications and experience required.**
- You must have a full UK driving licence (minimum of 3 years)
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
- Must have good communication skills and act as a role model for the team at all times.
- Be flexible with working days/hours to suit the needs of the business and participate in an emergency on-call rota.
